WHAT DO YOU AMPLIFY?
What you focus on and the lens you focus with determines what you amplify in your day - in your life. Life can be challenging and people can be challenging onset by circumstances that are out of your control, in your control, or both [2 Corinthians 4:8-9]. How overwhelming these challenges can be are determined by what you focus on in these challenges and what is amplified (made larger) is based on the lens you use [John 16:33]. When you look at the elements of the problems (people, situation, lack of desired outcome, et al) as the primary focus, it moves out of your view the good things in your life and the goodness that God has provided you - even within the challenges. When you use a worldly lens to focus on the problems (your emotions as a stand alone; it is up to me attitude; it is unfair attitude; I cannot handle this attitude; etc.), the problems are enlarged and magnified. When you use a God lens (where you trust Him [Proverbs 3:5-6]; is up to Him attitude; He is fair attitude; I can do all things through Christ attitude [Philippians 4:13]; etc) you focus on Him enlarging your view of Him and He is amplified in your life (Matthew 6:33). Your problems become right sized because God is much bigger than any problem you could ever face in life [Isaiah 40:28-31, Matthew 10:29-31, & Deuteronomy 31:6]. It starts with a decision (regardless of the emotions at hand [2 Timothy 1:7]) on what you will focus on in your circumstances and what will be amplified in your life - God or _________ [Jeremiah 29:13].
