THE GIFT OF GOD’S SPIRIT
God’s Spirit (Holy Spirit in me) will guide me when I read God’s Word and I make myself available in His presence for receiving and for learning [read Romans 8:9]. Holy Spirit will guide me to apply God’s Word in my life from what I have learned when I make myself available to apply what I have I have learned [Romans 8:26]. At times, when reading God’s Word, I might not feel the surge of learning that happens at other times but that is often due to either not making myself available in full presence to Him and/or I am not making myself available to Holy Spirit to guide me to apply what I have learned [John 16:13]. God’s Word and the application of His Word in my life are revealed by His Spirit in me [1 Corinthians 2:12-14]. All of it to be readily understood by me in my learning with the guidance of His Spirit in me [Romans 8:26-27]. As a footnote, that is why the Bible is confusing to non-believers and unsaved people because they don’t have God’s Spirit in them to help them [read Roman 8:9-11, 2 Corinthians 4:4, & John 14:17]. Holy Spirit is a gift to us when we become saved and He is available to us when we are present and available for God’s Spirit in us to teach us and to guide us in our daily living with the Word of God [read Acts 2:38]. Holy Spirit is the Helper God gives us (when we become saved) to guide, assist, and teach us in our daily living [read John 14:26].
